Dura Skrim® Fire Retardant Reinforced Plastic Sheeting

Dura Skrim® Fire Retardant Reinforced Plastic Sheeting is a puncture resistant construction film reinforced with a layer of polyester scrim to prevent tearing. It is printed with the Dura-Skrim® logo and the words “Fire Retardant” to meet building codes where fire retardant materials are required.  

Dura Skrim® Fire Retardant reinforced plastic sheeting is available in 6 mil and 10 mil thicknesses. A heavy-duty scrim reinforcement between layers of high-strength polyethylene film enhance tear resistance and increases the service life of the material. It is ideal for environments where building codes require a flame retardant product. 

Dura Skrim® Fire Retardant Reinforced Plastic Sheeting is a certified vapor retarder and spec’d into many construction projects. 

Dura Skrim® Fire Retardant also meets or exceeds the NFPA 701, test method 2 (large scale) and Class “A” wall and ceiling finish category as given in the National Fire Protection Association Life Safety Code 101, “Interior Wall and Ceiling Finish Classification” (ASTM E-84-97a).  10 mil Dura Skrim® Fire Retardant stock sizes are 6 and 20 feet wide by 100 feet long and the 6 mil Dura Skrim® Fire Retardant stock sizes are 6, 12 and 20 feet wide by 100 long; Rolls are also available in a variety of custom widths with minimum order quantities.
